Based in Los Angeles, ROTA (Ro Rowan & Marta Sofia Honer) focuses on providing excellence in the remote recording field and open resources for the music community.

ROTA works in tandem with composers and music houses to deliver remote recorded assets that sound like the players were in the room together while tracking. Beyond filesharing, we make sure to be in constant communication about approach, musical phrasing and more while working on a project.

Alongside performance, ROTA has worked to provide open resources to the session musician community at large to assist in understanding passive income, copyright law and demystifying what happens post-session on AFM union contracts.
